Hey guys! I recently attend the Teen Vogue Back to School Saturday event at Arundel Mills Mall sponsored by Simon. Before I show what I got, I want to say, the event was AWESOME!
Full disclosure, I’m not a student (although my boyfriend is a newly minted CU Boulder grad student), but it was still a really great time with awesome sales, delicious cupcakes and good tunes..see my cool photo of too cool pink haired DJ.
There were also a couple showcases from several stores at the mall, most of them were a little “younger” styles than what I would wear, but it is always good to see what trends the younger set is rocking. I can honestly say that I envy a couple things I see in Hot Topic even now (wish I was cool enough to rock those patterned shoelaces still…sigh). The models were all High School kids, and I definitely had mad jealousy that they looked so fly and were only teens!

Matt and I had a great time and the event and my wardrobe has never looked better for the Fall/Summer transition! Can’t wait to start the new “school” year this week in style!
