As many of you know, I recently turned 31. While many things have changed in my life (new job, lovely fiance, a wedding to plan) one thing has not: my skincare routine.
Unfortunately, while I stick to my skincare plan pretty well, there are a few things that haven’t really been serving my now *slightly* wrinkly and more sophisticated self. Ivy Wild, some of my favorite people, hooked me up with a holiday update to my skincare routine that was so easy it almost made me forget I’m getting old AF!
The quick rundown:
- A toner that both lightly exfoliates and also locks moisture in : Indie Lee, $34.
- CBD beauty for gown-ups: Saint Jane CBD lipgloss, $28.
- Luxury cream that both protects from winter conditions and includes the perfect tool to get every last bit: LXMI Creme du Nil, $58.
- A highlighter to glow through the New Year: LXMI Goddess Glow, $42.
- The perfect matte terracotta clean bronzer: Saint bronzer, $35.
- Holiday kits for everyone on your list: from $32.

Don’t freak out…but toners are back
If you have dry or combo skin like me you’ve been avoiding toners like the plague since 2003 when a drugstore brand toner (or was it straight rubbing alcohol!?) left your skin flaky, and frankly, scarred for life. Ivy Wild introduced me to this Indie Lee toner and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say my skin has been truly glowing since I started using it. Hyaluronic acid acid is amazing for my dry skin and this spray helps lock in all of the luscious moisture my skin craves during winter. Bonus: looks amazing in shelfies.

CBD Beauty is highly addictive
Just a reminder CBD is not THC, therefore, will not get you high. However, CBD (and the varying affects on the human body) have produced many beautiful products. One of which is this gorgeous Saint Jane lipgloss that I’ve seen all over Instagram and just had to try myself. I don’t have many glosses in my arsenal, but this one is truly perfect on its own or over a rose lip (my everyday look) and I love that it is shiny without being sticky or too insanely drying. Definitely a lipgloss for a grown up lady with very important stuff to do.

Skincare that comes with luxury tools
When Amanda brought out this beautiful cream I fell in love with how this beauty not only felt on my skin, but also how it was applied with the small included applicator. The cream itself contains Nilotica (a cousin of the shea nut) and is a potent source of antioxidants, Vitamin E and C and alpha hydroxy acid from hibiscus flower(love me some alpha hydroxy acid) for a little bit of light exfoliation.
A highlighter swap fit for a grown-up
I love a good highlighter, and I find that the liquid versions of highlighters give the most natural glow to the skin and serve to not accentuate fine lines around the eyes.

Updated matte bronzer
I love Saint lipstick and concealer, but I had never tried their bronzer. This matte bronzer is perfect for my fair skin, but I suspect the terracotta would give a nice glow to many complexions.

Holiday Kits for the Skincare and Makeup Lovers in Your Life:
Want curated gifts for those in your life that need some self-care this holiday (or for yourself)? Ivy Wild has curated these three sets that are perfect for so many people on your list.
For your favorite homebody
Patches that prevent a hangover, and skin care favorites for a night (or morning) spent studying or bingeing The Crown on Netflix.

For the influencer in your life
For moments when the #insta needs to look as good as the products really are. This lipgloss is one of my favorite insta moments, and wears like a dream!

For the newlywed
This would make a pretty swell bridal shower gift for someone you know that is getting married this year!
